My birthday happens to be Icelandic National Day, which usually brings thousands of people to Reykjavik. This year folks were encouraged to celebrate locally so as to avoid large crowds forming. We napped at the hotel during our arrival quarantine awaiting test results and awoke to a band outside the window.
